Please note that all fees must be paid on or before the first day of term. Please note that no reductions can be made for periods of absence. Please note that there is a 5% surcharge applied to all fees paid after the first day of term.
In order to assist parents' cash flow, the Pointers School will also accept payment by means of (12) monthly instalments. There is a separate simple contract for parents to sign. This is in addition to the Parent Contract.
Not included in the fees are:
- Public examination fees
- School or class visits; School journeys
- Lunches
- Private music tuition (see below)
- Swimming (see below)

Notes on Tuition Fees and Other Charges
Parents will be invoiced at the end of each term for the next term's fee and charges. Cheques should be made out to 'The Pointer School' and forwarded to the school on or before the first day of each term. Payment can also be made by BACS transfer, details from the Accounts Department. Fees paid after the first day of the term incur the higher charge as detailed on the separate schedule of fees and as outlined above.
A registration fee of £50 should accompany the Registration Form. This amount offsets the various administration costs. When the school makes a written offer of acceptance, a £500 deposit should be paid. The deposit will be credited to the final account rendered on completion of the last term's fee if all outstanding books/equipment have been returned and charges have been paid, and providing the school is advised a term in advance. Please note that this £500 deposit is not returnable if parents do not subsequently take up the offer of a place.
