How is the curriculum organized?

Pointers follows the guidance of the National Curriculum and includes the recommended pupil assessments at Key Stages 1 and 2. Over the years, the curriculum has been refined and is not only broad and exciting, but most importantly, challenging to pupils and teachers alike.

Subject areas now studied at Pointers have a strong emphasis on the fundamental skills of literacy and numeracy, leading to more formal work under the general headings of English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, French, German (optional), Art, RE, Craft, Design & Technology, Information Technology, Music (including individual tuition on specific instruments), Drama, Games, PE and Swimming.
